The proposed modifications to the Remitted Plan were the subject of formal consultation from 17th December 2021 until the 28th January 2022. Representations received will be considered by the Planning Inspector before reaching her final conclusions on the Plan.

The Examination is into all parts of the Leeds Site Allocations Plan (“the SAP”) which allocate sites for housing, including mixed use allocations, that were in the Green Belt immediately before the SAP’s adoption (including the aspects of all policies and text that give reasons for, and effect to, those allocations).

The Council adopted the remitted parts of the Site Allocations Plan, which are contained in the Inspector’s schedule of recommended Main Modifications with effect from 17 January 2024, pursuant to Section 23 of the Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004 (as amended).
