The Inspector’s Interim Report was to the County Council and published on the web site for information rather than comment. The Inspector did not invite comments but did not expressly say that none would be considered either. OXAGE has written to the Inspector and that letter and his reply are included on the Document List at EX19. The next stage in the examination when representations may be made is when the County Council publishes both the Main Modifications that it wishes the Inspector to recommend in order that the Plan may be found sound and the SEA/SA addendum that accompanies these. The County Council will make these documents available in the New Year and will explain how representations should be made and give the date by which they should be submitted. In the meantime and for the avoidance of doubt, any further correspondence received by the Programme Officer relating to the Interim Report or the content of the Plan is very likely to be returned to the sender unless it has been specifically requested by the Inspector. Thank you for your co-operation.

The Council has advised the Inspector that the South East England AWP is aiming to release the South East Aggregates Monitoring Report 2014 & 2015 by 9 September. The Council has undertaken to make this report publically available as soon as it is released, but it appears inevitable that this will be beyond the deadline set for further statements to be submitted to the Programme Officer. In these exceptional circumstances the Inspector is happy to receive short addendum statements from Matter 3 participants. He realises that there will be a short period only between the likely release date and the start of the hearings. However, it is important that all have the chance to read any addendums that are submitted before the hearings commence. Any addendums must therefore be sent to the Programme Officer not later than noon on 15 September. This will enable them to be added to the examination web site and made available to the Inspector.
